School Counselling Support Services

 Hi, my name is Karley Doll and I am the school counsellor at Amy Woodland.  

As school counsellor, I am responsible for providing individual and group support services to our students.

Typically I work with students on the following issues:

·         Healthy expression of feelings

·         Communication skills

·         Social and friendship skills

·         Impulse control

·         Self-esteem

·         Self-regulation

·         Anxiety

·         Anger management

·         Family changes

If you are worried about your child or feel that your child could benefit from extra support, please do not hesitate to contact me.  I am at your child's school most Mondays and Thursdays and you can contact me by calling the school office.  I am happy to provide information on the referral process, or offer advice on resources that you can access to learn how to support your child's emotional needs more effectively.
