EDI Questionnaire for K Students

Incident at Sparwood Secondary School

​Information release, as per the Cranbrook RCMP Media Release regarding threats on Social Media.   ​A thorough investigation, conducted by the Elk Valley RCMP and School District #5 Violent Threat Risk Assessment Team deemed that the alleged threat involving a Sparwood youth presents as minimal risk to our local schools.

Positive Behavior Expectations at FJM

​Together as a school we have a created a set of positive behavior expectations that are being taught to all our students.  We feel it is a great way to make our school a safe, caring and positive environement for all students to learn in. 

World Food Day

​We are celebrating World Food Day, which falls on October 16th.  To support the initiative, we are asking students to bring in non-perishable food items the week of October 17th-20th, to help out our local food bank.  Every little bit helps!
