Kootenay Educational Services offers a number of educational alternatives: - The Discovery Program is a teacher-directed, distance learning programdesigned to support parents and students who wish to complete courses outside of the traditional "bricks and mortar" school settings and schedules.  The District Learning Centers provide self-paced instruction to: complete a course for graduation, obtain an adult graduation certificate, or work around other schedules.
