Learning Assistance
The intention of Learning Assistance is to provide students an opportunity to strengthen their learning strategies for use in classroom settings or for independent learning. In addition, the support may include skill development or remediation of skills as needed. It is NOT intended to be used as a "homework" block but rather as a supportive environment to help students increase their capacity and self-determination. Students enrolled will participate in activities that will help increase their classroom, peer, school, and community connections. Possible activities may include goalsetting, memory strategies, multiple intelligences, field trips, volunteering, work experience, passion projects, life skills, and more.
