GT Lunch Program: Munch a Lunch
GT PAC organizes a pay-for-lunch program that offers meals sourced from restaurant vendors in this area. All profit gained from the lunches are returned to the school for various classroom initiatives such as field trips, bussing, gym equipment, etc. This program is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! This year are featuring great vendors on a weekly basis, with pizza being an available option every week
REGISTRATION
First time registration: Go to www.sd5.bc.ca/school/gtes and click on the “Parents” tab for the link to Munch-A-Lunch. You can also use the direct link: http://www.munchalunch.com/schools/gordonterrace
- Click the “Register Here” button. The system will guide you through the set-up process
- After adding your child(ren) click the green “Order Lunch” button to order
- Next time, just click the “Login Here” button to access your account
Returning students registration: For parent(s) and/or guardian(s) that have returning students, you DO NOT have to register again. You can login to your account and update your student(s) information. The student classroom assignment must be updated to have a successful order. We do ask that you review your personal information: ensure your email address is up to date, and add in your telephone number should we need to contact you for any reason regarding your order.
ORDERING
It’s easy! Please make sure you have the right location in order to be linked to Gordon Terrace munch-a-lunch program. Here is the direct link: http://www.munchalunch.com/schools/gordonterrace
Cut-off date: The cut off date for ordering is Monday 11:59pm prior to the scheduled lunch on a Friday and Sunday 11:59pm prior to the scheduled lunch on a Thursday.
Payment information (IMPORTANT CHANGES): Payment information has changed this year. We are no longer accepting cash and cheques. Payments must be made prior to the cut-off date or your Munch-A-Lunch order will NOT be submitted. If you are paying by e-transfer, you must submit your payment the FRIDAY prior to hot lunch (one week in advance) to give PAC time to submit your payment to Munch-A-Lunch. If your payment is not received in time, your order will be canceled.
Payment is accepted by the two following forms:
- Credit card – online through Munch-A-Lunch, click “Pay Now” and follow on-screen instructions
- E-transfer – sent to gordonterracepac@gmail.com
Week to week orders: Payment is due in full, prior to the cut-off date. If payment is not received within 24hours of submitting your order it will automatically be cancelled.
Monthly or full-term orders: Parents pre-ordering for future lunches are required to provide full pre-payment to secure order. If payment is not received within 24hours of submitting your order it will automatically be cancelled.
Lunch cancellations:
- There are no cancellations after the cut-off date
- Should your child not be present on hot lunch day, you can claim the lunch from the hot lunch volunteers at 12pm that day. Please text/call Amanda at 778-687-2448 in advance to let us know you will be picking up
- Unclaimed lunches by 12pm will be donated to another child
- In the event that you have ordered for the full term and must cancel a lunch, this can be facilitated through the Munch-A-Lunch platform following their cancellation steps. Just be aware that it will cancel all future lunches and your other children’s orders as well
