PAC Meeting Minutes
Hello Families!
Are you ready for our thrilling PAC meeting minutes?! Here they are!! In the interest of keeping you busy people informed here is a light summary of some of the items covered at the March 3rd PAC Meeting (in addition to the lemon cake 🍋😋).
1. 🛝 Playground Power: Lynn Henderson has stepped up to lead our playground committee, with Erika Shenton lending a hand in grant writing. So, if you see Lynn passionately discussing swings and slides, just know she’s got big plans for our little ones! Thank you Lynn!!
2. 📊 Survey Says...: Laura Lee Philips presented the CHEQ (Childhood Experiences Questionnaire Report) findings for our area! The data scoop is that 85% of Kindergarten parents shared their thoughts this year ⭐ Thank you to the families who fill out these surveys when they show up in their inbox. The data and findings go a long way to helping these little loves get going in their early years.
3. 🪻Spring Fundraisers: Our Grade 6 Kernels Popcorn raised a whopping $2,451, and the Grade 6 raffle raised $17,160!!! Plus, clean your gardening gloves because our Spring Plant Fundraiser is sprouting up this May!! 🌼
LAST BUT NOT LEAST - We're allocating a small Question and Answer period at the end of our meeting - about 10 minutes for our Principal & Vice Principal! This is valuable face time with the administration that runs our school!! Interested in school demographics? Classroom learning support? Education materials? Facilities? Community connections?
