District Hot Lunch - Starts October 7th at KO
Hello Kootenay Orchards Parents and Guardians,
We’re excited to announce that ordering for the weekly SD5 Hot Lunch Program is ready to go. The first lunch is Thursday, October 8th.
We’ve made some exciting updates to our ordering platform to provide families with a fresh, simple, and easy ordering experience.
🆕 Important: New Ordering Platform
As we’ve moved to our updated platform, all families will need to register and create a new account, even if you have ordered hot lunch in the past.
The registration process is quick and should take approximately 2 minutes to complete. Once your account is set up, you’ll be ready to place your Hot Lunch orders!
💻 To register and place your order, please visit:
https://sd5.food-for-thought.ca/
📧 After registering, you will receive a verification email from admin@food-for-thought.ca. Please check your junk or spam folder, as the verification email may sometimes be filtered there.
Be sure to click the verification link in the email to activate your account.
Hot Lunch will be served at KO every Thursday (unless otherwise noted), and we encourage families to place their orders in advance each week to ensure your child receives a meal.
Due to scheduling conflicts this month, October lunches will be served on October 8th and 15th. Check beck in a few weeks for the November menu.
💰 This is a pay-what-you-can program, so every child can participate regardless of financial circumstances.
We look forward to providing your children with delicious and nutritious meals throughout the school year!
If you have any issues with the online ordering system, please contact Vincent Girimonte at vincent.girimonte@sd5.bc.ca.
Thank you for your support!
Warm regards,
