Dear Parent, Staff, Students, and Community Members We have once again partnered with Thoughtexchange to facilitate an online community conversation to help us identify ways to improve student learning and engagement across our school community.
You will soon be invited by an email from JoinTheConversation@sd5.bc.ca. This confidential process can be completed on any computer or mobile device, and will not require a login or password.
You also can visit the following page to ensure that your email is registered for the conversation.
http://bit.ly/sd5-student-learning Step One – Share
You will initially receive emails inviting you to share your thoughts on student learning in your school. If you are a parent with children in multiple schools, you will receive a separate invitation for each school. You will also receive reminder emails encouraging you to participate. Once you complete the process, you will not receive any further reminders. You can choose to opt-out of the process at any time. Step Two – Star
For the second step, will again receive emails inviting you to star (prioritize) all the thoughts that were shared in the Share step. You will see any thoughts you personally shared, along with the thoughts of others in your school community. Step 3 – Discover
In this final step, we will share the results of the online conversation back out with our community. We value your input and your time spent in this process will be very much appreciated!
