Students from Mount Baker, KES, Laurie and Parkland recently took part in an educational field trip to Lethbridge Polytechnic, the University of Lethbridge, and the University of Calgary.  The purpose of the trip was to expose students to post-secondary opportunities and help them begin thinking about their future pathway in education, careers, and community leadership.  Throughout their time students explored campus spaces and learned about a variety of academic and trades programs. They also had the opportunity to ask questions, meet staff and student leaders and gain a better understanding of the supports available to them after they have completed high school.

The field trip also encouraged students to see themselves as future post-secondary learners by building confidence, inspiring goal setting, and showing the many possibilities available through education.
