Have a Heart Day is a youth-led reconciliation event will be held on February 14 to advocate for First Nation children rights to quality education, equitable health services, and safe living conditions. Students from the Laurie Middle School Indigenous Leadership class helped bake 400 heart shaped cookies to raise awareness and share acts of kindness with students and staff at Laurie Middle School.
