Land Acknowledgement
The footprint of School District No. 5 is fully contained within the Ktunaxa Nation, including the communities of ʔaq̓am and Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡiʾit.

Supporting Students & Families
Indigenous Education Support Workers help students through relationship building, academic encouragement, cultural activities, family support, advocacy, and connections to community services.
SD5 continues to strengthen learning environments that support identity, well-being, achievement, and future opportunities for Indigenous learners.
