Indigenous Education in SD5 supports student success through inclusive learning environments, cultural understanding, community partnerships, and pathways that empower students with dignity, purpose, and belonging.

The district works collaboratively with Indigenous communities, families, Elders, and education partners to create meaningful learning experiences that honour Indigenous perspectives and identities.

Indigenous Education Support Workers help students through relationship building, academic encouragement, cultural activities, family support, advocacy, and connections to community services.
