ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Frank J. Mitchell Elementary School (FJMES) is located in Sparwood, B.C., nestled in the Elk Valley between Fernie and Elkford.
FJMES is a Kindergarten to Grade Six elementary school enrolling approximately 370 excellent students.
Our school sits on the same property as the high school (Sparwood Secondary School) that our students will attend once leaving FJMES.
At FJMES, we strive to create an environment that makes all students and their families feel welcome, included, accepted, and celebrated.
