Bussing Information

General FJMES Bus Information

1. A student may only have 2 bus stops; ie: Primary Stop and Secondary Stop. You may not have multiple drop-offs on the same run. Simply, just two bus stops. 
2. Students are to be at the bus stop 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
3. Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students must be dropped off/picked up by a parent/guardian or designated adult. Students in these grades who are not picked up by an adult/parent/guardian will remain on the bus with the driver. The driver will contact the school and the office will contact you. The child will be brought back to the school.
4. Unless it is one of the listed parents/guardians picking up your child, the drivers require a note. If it is a continuous situation such as a babysitter picking up the student, then a signed note from parents/guardians would be sufficient for the year. 
5. Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students may be brought to/taken from a bus stop with a sibling in Grade 3 as long as a signed note has been provided to the school by parents/guardians.
6. Any other transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the parent.
