Fernie Secondary School
Fernie Secondary School (FSS) is a modern school in one of the most beautiful locations anywhere! The school has a population of about 400 students in Grades 7 to 12, including about 12 international students. It is a friendly, neighbourhood school where everyone knows everyone.
School sports include: soccer, basketball, volleyball, ski/snowboard, golf, cross-country running and track. Fine arts courses include: Band, Guitar, Theatre Performance, Studio Arts, Media Arts and Photography. Electives include: Calculus, French, Information Technology, Earth Science, Geography, History, Law, Food Studies, Textile Studies, Cook Training, Automotive, Carpentry, Metalwork and more.
