All KDS courses are aligned with the BC curriculum and delivered through Brightspace, our secure online learning platform.

Each course is designed to take approximately 100–120 hours to complete. To stay on track, students should plan to spend 6–10 hours per week per course, depending on their pace and goals. Steady progress is important — students who are inactive for 60 days or more and do not respond to teacher communication may be withdrawn.

All courses include teacher quizzes and/or assignments, as well as, at a minimum, one invigilated exam or assessment. Students can register at any point throughout the year, but those requiring a final grade by June 2026 for graduation or post-secondary purposes should begin their course no later than April 2026. All coursework must be submitted by the first week of June to allow time for assessment and reporting.
