Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
What is a PAC?
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a group of parents and caregivers who come together to support the school community and the wellbeing of our students. The PAC provides a forum where parents can ask questions, share ideas, raise concerns, and connect with other families while learning more about what is happening at the school.
All parents and caregivers of KDS students are automatically PAC members and are encouraged to participate.
The PAC members also organize PAC-related activities, raise funds for school events and activities, apply for and manage the Community Gaming Grant, and promote parent support and involvement across all KDS programs.
We warmly invite all parents and caregivers of KDS students to join and participate in the Parent Advisory Council.

PAC Meetings
PAC meetings are on the first Monday of each month at 7 pm at the Kootenay Learning Campus in Fernie, and online via Microsoft Teams.
