Fly Fishing Club
The Fernie Secondary School Fly Fishing Club provides opportunities for all students, regardless of experience, to learn and develop their skills and knowledge in the art of fly fishing. Members explore casting, fish behaviour, and river ecology while deepening their connection to the Elk River and the surrounding valley. The club emphasizes environmental stewardship, encouraging students to care for and protect the waterways that define our community. The club also fosters friendship, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging among students who share a passion for the outdoors.
