District Student Advisory Council (DSAC)
Role of DSAC
Students from each high school and middle school in School District 5 represent the District Student Advisory Council (DSAC). DSAC was established as a liaison between the Board of Education, District Management and the student population. DSAC meetings provide a formal process for the Board and District Management to receive input and feedback from students regarding district programs, operations and policies. DSAC students have the opportunity to identify and bring to the attention of the Board of Education and District Management issues and concerns affecting the student population. DSAC members are leaders within their schools who represent various elements of their school's population.
