School District 5 is once again participating as a pilot district for the Ministry of Education's draft K-9 Student Reporting Policy.

We value your feedback as we continue to develop better ways to communicate student learning.  Therefore, we are inviting you to complete the following Ministry survey at your convenience (see link below).

Many parents will have more than one child participating in the Student Reporting Policy Pilot. When this is the case, parents are asked to provide feedback on one child's* experience in the pilot, completing the survey only once in October. Later in the school year, parents will be invited to provide feedback on the same child's experience in a second Student Reporting Policy Pilot Parent Survey. Capturing responses from participants twice will allow measurement of the impacts of the draft policy over time.

*Please note: Survey responses are being limited to one child per family as the survey has been designed to capture a single child's experience. The focus on one child will ensure that parents are not asked to fill the survey out repetitively.

The survey link will be active October 15 to November 15, 2019.

Should you have any questions, please email:  studentprogress@gov.bc.ca

Thank you for your participation and valuable feedback.

The Ministry is also hoping to collect information from students. It may be necessary for you to support your child as they respond to their questions. There is a separate link for student feedback on the K-9 Reporting Pilot main page.
